with a LB on bench!!! Fuking barmy.......

Thaim offers nothing to us......not labeling him a scapegoat but what does he offer us?

We’re sending a team of kids to the slaughter house week in week out and it’s not far on them!!

DS dosent seem to know his beat team or even his best formation and I fear it’s going to be at least another month before we try Dougall, McGhean, Diaby back in the XI to see what works......I try to remain positive but that second half was absolutely abysmal

We had a very able experienced left back on the bench today.Jordan Williams is a good player when playing right back.

I don't think its helped all season that Thomas plays down the left too, he offers very little protection for his full back.

Do you think? I’d say he’s the hardest working of all our wingers at the club.

    A felt for him myself......

My point is why throw a young lad under the bus like that when we had a able LB on the bench? He could’ve even played Cavare at LB who a think Was more suitable to deal with there winger with his pace and strength

He presses the ball certainly but form a positional standpoint he leaves the full back exposed. Mind you on the other side Carvare wonders off completely, and he's still our best full back.

He also played on the right until Brown returned.

I think it’s worth noting that in the last home game Jordan Williams kept Pablo Hernandez relatively quiet, the minute he went off & Pinillos came on Hernandez ran riot.

I didn’t go to Forest but I read off numerous people that Pinillos was poor.

So I don’t think anyone can really criticise the decision to start Williams over Pinillos especially with Pinillos’ lack of pace

Sorry, I disagree. Very good 19 year old player. Playing him out of position is poor, and saying he is rubbish is just wrong.

The question I would ask isn't why we're selecting Jordan Williams ahead of Pinnillos, but why we didn't sign a left back in the summer when it when it was so obvious we needed one.

Have you watched Pinillos? At 54 I think I could out run him. DS is playing players out of position, as we have no cover.

    Yes completely agree with you.

That & a big striker are the two obvious deficiencies in the squad

Before we dismantled the team we needed a left back, competition for Dougal's position, a replacement for Thiam and back up for Lindsay and Pinnock. We didn't sign a left back, didn't sign a defensive midfield player, and spent all summer signing players to replace where we'd weakened the team and half a dozen replacements for Thiam, none of whom have, so far, brought about much improvement.
