I think that VAR is OK, it is the offside rule that needs modifying. For me VAR should only review if the person making the pass, or the goalscorer is offside. Winding it back 8 passes or so, to find that a player was 6 inches offside is ridiculous.
Were you at Burnley when VAR overturned the penalty decision to keep us in the game? Yes it was celebrated like a goal.
No I was in Dublin for that fixture, fortunately. However I was in Guimares in the summer when Lingard scored that last minute winner against the dutch. I nearly broke my leg in that spin, for VAR to ruin my day.
Feckin abart wit laws of game and feckin abart wi cameras, see Rugby Union brought another rule in thats feckin stoopid anall. Leave our sport alone yer feckin power crazed b@st@rds.
Did you see the goal from Gareth Bale the other night? A piece of absolute genius ruled out because of the rule changes brought in to accommodate VAR. The ball brushed his arm on the way down to volley the ball no change of direction on the ball at all to benefit him. But under the new rules it was rightly ruled out. The new rule on hand ball is a joke, common sense needs to be used in these situations.
