Think we’ve been more than patient with Thiam to be honest and still no end product from him. Does anyone know when he last scored for us ?

Just checked and Thiam last goal for us was 29 Jan against Oxford and if soccerbase stats are correct then he’s scored 8 goals in 92 games for us .

Oxford can consider themselves bloomin' unlucky - he's got 3 in 2 against them! (5 in 90 against everyone else).

Notice no one is complaining about the zonal marking that allowed the Leeds player the freedom of Barnsley to score their first goal. Thiam giving away the free kick is one thing our defending of it is another.

Ps. That was Halme again that let him get in.

He was shattered. Nowt left in the tank. Same for the other two who were withdrawn. All three substitutions were pretty much forced.

Their replacements weren't though. We had three players on the bench with pace and three with a bit of experience. Stendel went with experience, I think we would have fared better with pace, as that's what Leeds were exposing us with. I thought Green, Oduor and Chaplin should have been brought on.

Having said that, if we had and we'd lost, there would have been just as valid an argument that they were too inexperienced for such a high pressure game.

Always easy to argue the case for something that didn't happen and wasn't tested.

I was disappointed with Bahre Mannilows contribution too. I wouldn't have given him the captaincy either though. Brilliant glimpses last season but goes missing just like Moncur used to do.
