I was just about to post that if Gills weren't at least a goal up by half-time, then they must be awful. But they're winning now, so I shan't bother.
I don't understand this thread in combination with the Bury one. It's terrible that Bury have lost their club and terrible that Bolton have kept their's?
Two loans both at 20 million pounds, plus interest on the top tells me they are far from safe yet......
.......And are using those loans to buy approx 13 players today. The other teams in the league must be well pleased!!!! Looks like the people who’ve ‘saved’ them are just borrowing money against the assets to finance the club, 2 loans of £20 million both repayable in 3 years.
They’ve signed Liam Bridcutt. He’s probably on more than any of our squad. Nothing like living within your means.
It's not really fair on donny who they postponed their game against as they were concerned about the young players playing another game of football. Now donny will have to play a stronger side by looks, donny should get the 3 points from that game instead of re arranging it.
Th' new age of responsible spending has arrived in Bole Tun: a £20million loan and Championship players through the door. I hope it goes horribly wrong for them.
I wonder what the punishment for the postponed games will be? Do we think they’ll come down hard on them to make anything but relegation hard, or go soft as they’ve already had 12 points deducted? My thoughts are the EFL, who gave the new owners and structure the OK, surely cant afford for them to go bust again anytime soon or they will come in for even more criticism - so it’s in their interest for them to do well. So I reckon fairly lenient points deductions.
Didn’t realise it was a loan. There was talk of Forest paying up his contract, so he could join on a free transfer.
