    He'd stand more chance of that if he was a full-back, centreback, or winger. We don't really play with strikers these days ;)

    Yes, indeed..

    Although can understand if the manager wanted him to work on the system for a few sessions can understand not wanting to knock his confidence just by throwing him in at the deep end.

    The modern striker does need the broom sticking up his arse so he can sweep up aswell. It's not just about scoring goals or even playing. He needs to learn from Halme how to hold the ball up.
