If we get turned over by a midfield of Moncur and Butterfield we deserve to go down. All the mobility of the QE2 floating in treacle

    Really?
I could perhaps pick them up on their inabilities defensively or lack of physicality but they're two of the best technical midfielders I've seen turn out for us in the last 10 years.

They may have been saving him for us because he's had no minutes in their last two games.
Shinnie and Mpanzu are first choice by the looks of it in terms of attacking midfield players.

I would play him against us he would likely turn up.

It was always frustration with Moncur for me. So much ability so little application, like a lower league Mezut Ozil. If selected I'm sure he will put in a great 60 min shift against us like he did For us against Peterborough.
But when you watch him over a season you can see why numerous managers have deemed him surplus to requirements.

    Yes he's a luxury player.
When he's on it he's exceptional but it's not often enough.

I wouldnt argue with that, but it's not a dead ball competition and I reckon my nan could beat either of them in a bleep test and she's been dead 15 years. If it were a walking football competition Paul Digby would hammer them both, but it's not

Don’t think Moncur’s started a game for them unless he did in the cup.

Sounds like Butterfield’s back on form, plenty of Luton fans praising him

We have two of the slowest centre mids I've ever known us have together.
    I rate them both.
    It's football, it isn't the 100m.

    Nothing against any of them.

Apart from Moncur- he's a right cap end.
