    Am I also being presumptuous in saying that we will be nowhere near the foot of the league come May? (assuming that display was indicative of how we're going to be all season)

    I know it was touched on in another thread but does anyone know why Davies and Lindsay weren’t even on the bench? Is the deal definitely completed or are they injured? I know they’ll not be bothered either way while the cheques roll in but surely stoke haven’t signed them for the reserve team?
