Have people missed this post? They showed Nudger the seating plan, but he made a scene unnecessarily (what a shock) and stormed out like a 3 year old.
Nailed on. However, I have actually contributed to this one because I genuinely don’t get people who’s first instinct is to moan about things on the internet. It’s almost as if he enjoys it, and he’s not alone. If he’d have had a very positive experience today would he have posted about that? If you’re of that mindset to let everyone who’ll listen hear your moans, then I guess not.
I also agree with that to a certain extent, Any company should be given the chance to correct any wrongs or at least offer an explanation before it’s taken to social media,
They showed him a seating plan that wasn't accurate or representative of the actual seat he would be purchasing.
Some of the worst seats I've sat in are because of so-called 'best advice' of the club. They usually don't see the importance. So a customer should be put to lots of extra trouble because the club/its staff can't be bothered to help them properly to start with. It used to be commonplace to go into the ground to pick your season ticket seat. I don't really understand why you can't do that any more. I don't know what you do for a living, but I hope it isn't customer service.
I feel like Nudger couldn’t have actually have solved this online anyway as I believe his point is that the online seating map doesn’t reflect the real seating arrangements and this was exacerbated by the fact that the screen in the shop was also hard to view. Since having a season ticket, I’ve not had to think about that for a while but I do remember being confused in the past buying tickets I thought were at the end of a section but weren’t in reality when I arrived.
Have a look at the website - the seating plans are shown as two halves. So what you assume to be an aisle seat is actually in the middle of the block. Who the hell has put this seating plan together!?!?!
I find the admission by Nudger that they did show a seating plan a bit confusing. Because I've only ever seen one seating plan online and it's very clear.
I honestly don't know, as I haven't had to use one for years. But the claim was corroborated by a few others(one being JamDrop), so it would appear that he is right. I
It does appear to show aisles in the wrong place. On the online map my seat looks as if it is next to, or one seat away (I can’t remember exactly but it’s close), the end of the block and what looks like an aisle. In reality, it is slap bang in the middle of a section.
Anyway - someone has kindly bought me a ST on line now. But my advice still stands ........ If at all possible KEEP AWAY FROM THE SHOP
Gally always asks us for our comments on matters concerning the Club so he can feed them in at the periodic fans forums. This topic is ideal for the next meeting. I feel sure that given the numerous adverse comments on here thus far, that something could well be done to improve season ticket issue and seat bookings in the future.
Well - that’s my intention. Get the matter discussed. And from there I know Gally and Whitey will pick it up and run with it. He’s not a bad lad is that theer Gally (that’s when he’s not banning me off here of course).
You can get two seats together sometimes because of this, when there appears to be none. The last seat on a row in one section and the first seat on the same row in the next section. They show different blocks/gangways, but the seats are consecutively numbered and actually side by side.
That would be interesting to know.. I know they never used to have an issue accompanying you into the ground to choose as seat, as they did this with me when I got my first ever season ticket. Mind, that was when the average crowd was around 4,000/4,500 , so they were nowhere near as busy as now.
