Can’t wait to see it in action. Lack of heating will rule me out from using except on hot days (that’s not a complaint as such, just a statement) unless there are plenty of places to rest drinks but most people won’t have that problem.
Is it just me that has an image of the Phoenix Club re-opening? Potter's pink paradise Inflatable Sammy snake Mobility scooter rides Jerry the berry
I think i'll stick to Shakespeare, Bramah, White Bear, Court House and Mount as stand in a glorified tent.
Leave them switch on under the East Stand too. Still the coldest concourse in history that place downstairs. Have they still not boarded over the massive gaps above the turnstiles?
I hope this doesn't mean there's still going to be some membership *****. It appealed to me when I thought it was something I could just roll up to and not get turned away from. I didn't realise numbers would be so restricted.
Sounds great. Can't wait to have look when I'm back over for the Luton game. Seems like a lot of thought and effort have gone into this and, if I'm not mistaken, a lot if not all of those involved are doing this unpaid and in their own time. I can only hope they've got a good sense of humour looking at some of the other replies in this and the other thread. Jesus fuxking christ.
one of my best away days last year was at accrington.... A tent some beer and food with some music! I hope ours is similar but a bit more upmarket...
I think people are underestimating how many folk 300 actually is. That would fill a lot of pubs in town. But crazy to go bigger straight from the off and difficult with licensing. No membership restrictions in Redfearn’s Bar other than being a Trust Member or Season Ticket holder, but we also let match day ticket holders in if they were definitely Barnsley fans
I can't get my head around folk writing it off before they've even been and experienced it. Christ. Fair enough if you go and think it's *****, that's your prerogative, but to not even give it a chance before slating it is daft. The club are trying to move forward, but they'll never win with some folk unfortunately.
We've been wanting to drink at the ground for ages. It was always a pallaver getting past Scary Mary, so we stopped bothering with Redfearns and the Worthingtons in the ground is over-expensive *****
I can't remember exactly, but I think it was a Trust Member for year one (either paid or free) and then other years have been Season Ticket Holders as well. We always encourage people to at least sign up for the free membership so they can attend any of the Supporter Evenings we put on two or three times a year.
At least fifty will be in with flasks and their own food as usual abusing the facility just to sit down. I'll stick to tarn.
