The only improvement I thought that could have been made, was to have queues for surname initials - like A-D and E-H etc. That would have been quicker for the people queuing as well as easier for those serving. I went when it was quiet, but imagine those first few days would have been a nightmare because of this.
Badge, key ring, signed shirt, Training session with players, fully paid week in Ibiza....what was in yours?
Yes I didn’t get a lanyard or a wrist band but as I didn’t know what a lanyard was and I wouldn’t wear a wrist band I’m not that bothered. I’d have preferred some midget gems or tangy haribos, maybe they’ll bare that in mind for next season .
Yeah, I thought that myself. However some of the stuff is for my son, so he wants it. Also, I paid for it too so it should be in. It’s a nice little box, and to be fair it’s worth £15 for the bits alone.
Tell that to the old bloke in front of me last week who explained he had strict instructions to keep out if the sun due to a skin problem by his Doctor. Also the bloke in his 80’s behind me who was struggling to stand for the duration. The girl who had to leave the queue who couldn't continue to hold her baby for so long. I do agree that Cemtex is a bit strong of an issue though and one that i would agree is overly exaggerated. However wasnt me who brought that up blown up out of proportion.
The queue was for season tickets, how could you queue in the wrong place for the wrong thing...did someone get to the front and ask for a bacon sandwich
People were confused which queue was for season tickets, which was for Sheff Utd tickets, and which was for Wednesday tickets.
F**k me, someone asks a question i answer it. I have a great life thanks, some of it spent queueing for tickets, but thanks for the advice knob 'ead.
Eh? I was taking mickey after Gally’s post mate and playing on the fact that some fowk blame club for everything ie traffic on ponte road.
hahhaha not thee mate, i actually didn't mean to quote your post. I was too busy getting a life. You having a pint before game?
Hahaha...I did wonder like ya knob. ....yes mate deffo up for a beer, I’ll ring you Friday morning to make arrangements
Surely it is up to the people in the queue to be polite and ask if they want to go in front or for them to ask if people would mind them going in front. Or alternatively they could always have paid for posting. Dont see why it's the clubs fault!
I never said it was. I was answering the question about queue management. Some people took 'offence' to the comment that i said H&S and i gave a reason why i said it. To be honest it wasn't an issue for i queued for over an hour chatted with people in the queue and had some banter with Whitey who was also there helping out. I was ok with it, didn't get cemtex in my box nor lost any quality of life. However i could also see why some people struggled with the queues too hence my post.
