To be fair, it was pissing it down and everyone was being directed out of town [insert random level crossing criticism here]

Well they need to do a little more research and less moaning and have more patience. Friendly match, pissing darn rain, sounds like not much above 5k home fans. Maybe take a look at their bar prices anawl.

It’ll do well once they sort the crossing over the tracks out.

And not everyone’s tight fisted wanting beer at under £2.00 a pint.

In fact, i would hazard to say some of the better pubs in town (definitely in terms of clientele), Jocks Cavern, Garrison, 00 Bar, that Gin Bar on shambles street, even outside Flavela and Evoo when it’s sunny are all higher end prices for town.

Well there you go then, hence my research and patience comments. Some people are not perhaps tight-fisted by paying £2.00 a pint, it’s simply a budget that they can work within. Not everyone can afford to pay between a £1.00 and £2.00 a pint more. Added to that, Shakespeare, Chennells etc, offer live football as well.

The were all in Asda due to the 500 mile detour.
