    Drew 1-1 with Irish side Bohemians. With the transfer embargo in place, looks very much as though
    he's having to look at his younger players and any that have been recalled from loan, as he
    already knows the capabilities of most of the existing first team squad.

    See Zola declined to stay as Coach. If he's now left that will be a big blow, because he had at least
    some time to work with the squad that Lampard has inherited.

    I don’t judge anyone on pre-season friendlies but I am a bit baffled as to why Lampard’s so highly thought of.

    If someone would’ve asked me where I expected that Derby side to finish I would’ve said play offs & they finished 6th & I don’t think many would’ve predicted a lower finish.

    He was incredibly fortunate to get two brilliant loanees in Wilson & Mount that half the league wanted.
