Yes I shoot them. Its a none stop shooting fest in my life. You ought to look up what irony is. If you can't recognise it that's not my problem.
No that's not irony. It's just a bugger. Saying the only thing to do in an argument is shoot someone, when it's clear I'm arguing the opposite is an obvious use of irony. You stated I didn't use irony which is either because you don't understand what irony is or you're not bright enough to spot it. Your opinion on this is miles away from what I believe to be decent. I don't think you should shoot someone under any circumstances. When they're pregnant it's even worse. I don't believe people should carry firearms for the very reason that this could happen. You said a number of stupid things, I picked you up on it, keep digging if you like, I'm going to do something else.
I never said you should shoot someone. You said they were "arguing". You don't know what that argument involved. I doubt it would be considered self defence to shoot someone for verbally abusing you - even in Alabama. Which makes me think that there was a physical element to it. I'm not saying it's right to shoot someone who is physically assaulting you unless you genuinely fear for your own life. I'm not saying that's what happened here but it puts a slightly different perspective on it. I'd also say that both parties and the company they kept were likely to carry guns (although that is speculation on my part) which would make it even dafter. And it's just plain daft to risk getting into physical altercations when you're pregnant whether the other party is carrying a weapon or not.
Nothing you've said there makes me believe it's OK to shoot someone. In fact, other than if you're actually being shot at yourself, and even then I'm not sold on the idea, I believe shooting people is wrong. Whether there was a physical element to it or not, and I don't know, nor have I claimed to, an argument can be anything from verbal to physical, shooting a pregnant woman in the stomach is wrong and I can't even fabricate a situation in my head where a person who was shot can be charged for being shot. They can be charged for what they did to the other person, but not for being shot themselves.
You've not really responded to what I said and you're being disingenuous with regards to the words "argument". Let's leave it there.
Yes I have and no I'm not, other than that, nice attempt to claim that it's me that's being unreasonable.
Of course it's you. By calling it an argument you're trying to downplay the role of the person who got shot and make out that they were completely innocent when there is clearly more to it. As I say it wouldn't be reasonable to use a gun in self defence if someone was shouting at you - even in the US.
I think that song is ironic in itself, in that none of the things listed as examples of irony are actually ironic. Maybe that was the point?
I don't think it was deliberate. Tell you what though - I've got some toast I need to butter and all I've got is 10,000 spoons.
Alanis has obviously never been so hungover/lazy that she couldn't be arsed to wash up a knife and used the back of a teaspoon to butter a slice instead. Works a treat.
So you have babymamma who we'll call D1 and the shooter who we'll call D2. D1 started a physical altercation with D2. D1 continuted this altercation with D2 even when D2 was attempting to leave the scene in her car. It was at this point D2 got hold of and fired at D1 in order to defend herself hitting her in the stomach. D2 was arrested for manslaughter and the case was thrown out by the grand jury as based on the facts presented showing D1 was the protagenist worh D2 acting to defend herself. D1 is now up for manslaughter over the death of her child. You need to remember regardless of skin colour or which sky fairy you follow as a pregnant woman in Alabama its your responsibility to ensure the safe welfare of your foetus. To be fair it should be tje same regardless of where you are... As harsh as it sounds, if D1 wasnt chasing D2 about in some kind of lovers tiff then she wouldnt have got shot. As for the shot in the stomach, when shooting you aim for centre mass..this being the largest target. Only one person is able to tell you whether she deliberatly shot at and killed the unborn child. Any suggestion outside of that is pure conjecture. As per your hypothetical situation I would quite possibly die of shock if my missus was 5 months pregnant and had a brawl. She only ever has one aggressive bone in her body... Would you, as a woman 5 months gone kick off to a degree where you are in the same situation as those two wastes of skin? I doubt it.
Gutted. People block you, abuse you, call you this and that, and I've often stated that sometimes you actually could have a point. But you've got rid of that now too. When there's nobody left, what you going do? Still claim you're right? Despite all evidence to the contrary?
There will always be a number of people capable of having a reasoned discussion even if they totally disagree. Admittedly that number is dwindling and it has decreased by one tonight. I should have realised what a kernt you are that time you unleashed on Mario and got my thread deleted. I'm now wondering if you're all there. Anyway, not my problem.
