    Hope Fran stays fit.
I feel very lucky to have covered so many of their games in the past.

How funny if Neville wins a world Cup this way :D

Its bloody rubbish.... where’s the diving? Or the rolling around like they’ve been taken out by a sniper.... to be fair that was a hell of a strike

The standard of women's football has really stepped up a gear.
I used to think it was like poor football played in slow motion, but quite a few nations have been very impressive, and that certainly does include England too.
As Bossman mentioned, little cheating, diving etc, so few yellow cards.
So with that in mind, why, oh why, do they not whip their tops off to celebrate a goal??

Doing their best to concede at the mo. Needs to concentrate and see it out,
but credit where it's due they are doing well.

I’m really enjoying not seeing all the shirt pulling and grabbing each other by the necks I’ve come to take as granted in football. I don’t know how Kieffer doesn’t leave the pitch black and blue each week but there has been none of that here.

Oh you would have loved the 70’s JD, there wasn’t a lot of shirt pulling then either :D

Watched the start but then switched over to Spain u21 vs France u21. Hope they win it but it's just too slow paced for me to enjoy a full match.

That's how to win a quarter final alright!! I thought that they were sensational from start to finish. First game in this tournament in which I have watched pretty much all 90 minutes. Wonderful performance. Two excellent team goals and a stunner from the training ground. Just brilliant. France/USA could be a tougher call, though.
