    The Supreme Court has a Conservative, Republican majority at the moment. Taking it up there would probably result in a longer sentence for the poor woman.

    No idea. I would hope the shooter would. I'm talking about this specific situation though. Gross incompetence resulted in a miscarriage of justice in a crime involving two black people. Where's the racism?

    Not everything negative that happens to a black person is racist. They can be victims of incompetence just like white people can.

    I'm not asking about opinions though. I'm asking for facts. If you believe you have presented any facts please point them out to me. Or you could just try the moral high ground even though there isn't any in this situation.

    Conan, you're spectacularly missing the point. It's not that either of those involved is getting preferential treatment over the other. It's not about those two. It's about the state charging a black woman who was shot with a crime. The woman who shot her didn't charge her, the state did. A black woman who was carrying a baby was shot, which killed her baby, and the state of Alabhama have charged her with a crime. How can you not see just how racist that is. The fact that it was a black woman who shot her has absolutely nothing to do with her being charged.

    Probably an anti-abortion slant to it. If there was enough "evidence" to convict an innocent person, how did they let the shooter off?

    Oh aye. Will probably get dropped then. If the guilty party got off you have to wonder what evidence they have. Still reckon it's more of an anti-abortion mentality.
