    Jackson left first so will have been replaced first. Would seem daft to replace someone who hadn't yet left, before someone who's been gone a month or so.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see two new centre backs come in now, three if Pinnock goes. You need cover in the Championship.

    I just find it strange we have paid 800k to replace Jackson who we paid hardly nothing for. It was on the cards Lindsay leaving for ages he had a year left and wouldn't speak to the club about a new deal.

    I actually agree with Dreamboy on this. Obviously, I'm now questioning myself, but...

    Before Lindsay left we needed another centre half. We had three, Jackson left, so we needed another. I'm sure the club had a pretty good idea Lindsay would be leaving, but he could have had a last minute change of heart. As such, Andersen had to be a replacement for Jackson. He couldn't have been Lindsay's replacement had Lindsay stayed. The next centre half we get in will be a replacement for Lindsay. Or Pinnock, depending if we sell him before or after our next defensive purchase. I reckon it's nailed on he'll be gone though.
