Glad we're showing some ambition to push on next season. We do have a paper thin squad and I think it was the reason we didn't finish Champions. Hearing figures of £2 million and us not taking no for an answer is really encouraging.
Not sure our squad was paper thin last season we had 2 players for each position sometimes 3. The problem was we had so many injurys through out the season, suspensions to key players and international call ups I think that's the reason we didn't finish champions. I've never known a season as bad for injurys. I do agree it's looking promising the players we are looking at would be nice if we could get pinnock, Lindsay, mcgeehan or thiam s contracts extended though.
On paper I think they'd be good additions to the squad. The good thing at the minute is the harmony. Granted only 18 make the match day squad and 14 can potentially take part. However, I think there wouldn't be much sulking with Stendel in charge.
Just as an aside, been revealed that the Wendies have been trying to sign Sunderland defender Lee Cattermole, but their interest could well cool because they probably can't afford his wage demands.
