We had not dropped through the trap door into division one.
Where would Daniel Stendall have taken us.
Find out the next season hopefully not loosing key players.

If wed not dropped wouldn't Morais still be here? A case of darkest before the dawn imo.

If we’d stayed up Stendel wouldn’t have been recruited.

Morais would have started the season, probably gone by November. No guarantees we’d have got Stendel or anyone near as good at that point - in my view had we stayed up there is a very good chance we’d have been relegated this season anyway.

Morais would be on Calendar news doing cat impressions with Christine Talbot.

There was talk Morias was going to get the boot even if results had gone our way on that last day.

Yeah, I don’t think Morais would’ve still been here regardless of what happened.

Terrible decision to appoint him but made up for it with Stendel.

Probably just hanging on by our fingernails again due to Rotherham Bolton and Ipswich being even more **** than we were last season in the Championship. If we had stayed up we would probably have kept Morais and been in the bottom 3 at Xmas when he would have been fired - Stendell wouldnt have been availlable but we would have signed a different unknown manager to come in mid season and he may have done just enough for us to survive

I wonder if with the benefit of hindsight the relegation last year was actually a good thing

Definitely. I think Stendel has benefited from having a fresh start, pre season, and no loanees.

It's also given players like Mowatt and McGeehan a chance to get going.

Morais would have gone anyway, I think the board had a plan no matter what. He was an appointment made quickly because of the betrayal.
