Was wonder was george Miller and Jordan Green stendels targets or was they clubs choice.... Wondering what is targets may entail if these are calibre of players he thinks we need.
I don’t think either of those players will be at Oakwell next season. Probably end up out on loan I reckon.
Jordan Green is raw and ...err...Green. But I think we have seen enough to realise that with development in a higher division his pace will create problems. In the lower league with cloggers he is lightweight and knocked off the ball easily. He could turn out to be like a certain Martin Bullock who made a right mug of a certain 'star' England defender turned him inside and out. He took a while to get going but caused Premier league defenders no end of problems and was not afraid to take men on. One for the future?
Seeing Sol Campbell dumped on his arse by Bully was one of the abiding memories of that glorious Premier League season. I'd give Ten Sovereigns to see that again!
I seem to remember Adams & Keown made Bullock & Marcelle look like school kids when we lost 2-0 at Oakwell in ‘98 to Arsenal. That Arsenal side was absolute quality. It was a stroll for Arsenal that day. But their fans were great and also applauded us.
The difference is that Bullock was a fantastic dribbler whereas, on the evidence we’ve seen thus fat, Green isn’t. His move appears to be a little tap with the outside of his right foot and then run. It wasn’t clever enough for League 1 defenders and therefore, isn’t going to be any more effective at a higher level. Too early to write him off of course.
Also little known fact Bully had one of the highest psss completion ratio if not the highest of any Barnsley player in the premiership.
That's not how I see it. I clicked like because I agreed with the comment. We have been through this argument. Interminably. It's been done to death and put to bed. I'm all for a good debate but, flippin heck, this one has been thrashed to death countless times.

no worries that's the problem with the written it can be read how its not meant to. its obvious that we're going toget the odd dud but when you look at horihane(?), mawson, Roberts, big gus, mowatt, pinnock, potts, McGeehan, to name just a few ( please excuse the metaphore) we have to polish turds as unlike other clubs we can't afford diamonds
Just worried we are going to continue with the revolving door. We can try and emulate the Blades with a very low budget and get promoted. We don't need to sell our best players anymore and need to tie em down with good wages and contracts so we can build a good side around these pottentialy good young kids. I really hope our new owners show ambition and kick on so we don't just be a club trying to survive
