    where will folks be heading? I don’t really know the town centre pubs any more. Just have memories of Peel Street / Tommy Wallocks being the party place after the Bradford game.

    I suspect the ones Sparky has suggested might not be your cup of tea these days (if ever ;)) but the Temple wasn't bad the last time I went in.

    Anyway, a member of our group who lives near you, will be needing "decent wine", so that will be critical. None of that Echo Falls / Blossom Hill malarkey.

    Don't kid me that you don't remember the Temple! (Yes it did become Brownes). I don't know about decent wine but they have a Wednesdayesque selection of Gins :D

    I seriously have not been in there for over 20 years. And I don't think I've set foot on Wellington Street in that time either. Does it still have pubs?!

    Haha, had many a good night on there - the Theatre was my favourite. Watching live bands, two for one bottles, and that Ticket Office place. Top nights.
