    When Ipswich were relegated I referred to big Mick laughing his **** off, but I think his "sexy football in league one" comment is a bit daft.

    There's no reason why Ipswich can't play nice football and come straight up.

    Watching nice football in league one has got to be better than seeing your team out of its depth and getting beat most weeks in the Championship.

    He'd have been better off privately enjoying their demise and not commenting.

    He's got a fair bit on his plate in his new job. The FAI is in meltdown with the top man gone and probably the rest of the board to follow after some very dodgy financial chicanery (allegedly). Plus most of his players are s***e.

    Fair play to Mick. Ipswich is a club in freefall. For me he's every right to speak his mind.

    If we don't go up this year Ipswich & Bolton won't be the clubs I'd be worried about TBH

    Let's be honest, we played some absolutely cracking football under Keith Hill until his team was dismantled from under him in January.

    Where they finished isn't really my point. The fans weren't enjoying his football, and won't have enjoyed any of it since.

    Part of the reason is apparently they've gone down a similar route to us in terms of recruitment, and have suffered the same fate. Would big Mick have made a difference had he stayed? Who knows? He was going at the seasons end anyway.

    Dropping into league one could turn out to be a good thing for them in the long term.
