    I could weep.
What a terrible, terrible tragedy for everybody.
Went there in 1984. Such history devastated.

Sorry, but quite sad doesn't go anywhere near what is happening .

I agree its much worse than that - I've been in there a few times over the years and it was a beautiful and incredibly peaceful building. At best the entire roof is lost and its probably going to be much worse than that. I hope they can save it but it doesn't look too promising at the moment

Took my daughter for her birthday in November. Heartbreaking. 200 years to build. 2 hours to collapse.

A terrible, terrible tragedy. I've been just the once but it left a lasting impression.

The famous Notre Dame spire has collapsed. What a terrible tradegy.
Will probably take a not inconsiderable amount of time to restore it
    to its former glory.

Apparently it's been structurally unsound for quite a while anyway. That doesn't bode well for saving the building, even the outside walls. Very unlikely that what remains will ever be safe again.

Do flying water tankers exist, or are they just a figment of Trump's mentally deranged imagination?

The man is such a massive cretin. Can you imagine opening one of those fire planes over central Paris risking killing people and damaging other buildings? They are useful for forest fires.

You have to understand that he's thinking of Paris, Texas.
