No chance of winning the appeal. He led with a stretched out arm.

Does he still get a 4 match ban if they lose the appeal? If so he will miss the Sunderland game as well.

Only if it's considered to be a frivolous appeal which I would imagine it will be. It definitely looked intentional to me.

My feelings for Fleetwood are diminishing by the minute. What they going to do next? Declare war on us?

They'll be claiming Stendel forcefully sniffed Bartons forehead next.

I guess it's part of the defence of Joey Barton. They'll argue he was incensed by a terrible refereeing decision, which they have appealed, and he lost his temper in the heat of the moment. Wasn't a premeditated attack, simply a blown fuse after the injustice of a lost game due to a referee not fit for purpose

Having seen the offence yesterday at the game and watching the highlights today, I would say that there is more chance of Peter Sutcliffe being released.

When in fact it should work the other way where Barton encourages the cheap ******* to lead with his elbow. We’ve all played or watched the game for a number of years and know the difference between getting leverage and a petulant elbow because you’ve got the monk on over not being good enough.

It looks bad from the tv but from the east stand in real time it looked 10 times worse, there’s no way that will get overturned was definitely intentional and that thuggery act deserves to be suspended for the rest of the season. Outcome could’ve been a lot worse for cam if he connected fully.

Makes it all the more incredible that South Yorkshire’s finest allowed him to leave rather than interviewing him immediately or better still arresting him, as they would have done with any fan alleged to have done something similar on Grove Street. Or as they did with that Birmingham City knobhead who hit Grealish. (But didn’t knock out teeth, break nose or whatever as in Daniel’s case.). Instead he and his legal advisers get to concoct a defence and then they can all lie through their teeth.

Which obviously Daniel can’t as he has just lost two.

Chedwyn’s case was overturned due to his lawyer discrediting the victim rather than because he was innocent. Watch out for a repeat.

I've never seen a more clear cut deliberate elbow. It was face on.

    Fleetwood are scum. **** them.
