Just p#ss off with your cheating. Absolutely hate it, and I'd hate it if a Barnsley player did it.

50-50 challenge in second half. Our player raises leg to no more than hip height. He squeals, goes down holding his face, gets the free kick, jumps up and jogs away.

    Totally conned the ref.

The ref was be bemusing to say the least at times today. Early in the game I remember 3 free- kicks to us around 20 25 yards out and he didn’t use the white foam spray. Their players encroached on all occasions. Yet he used the foam on all of their free kicks. Also, at another of our free- kicks, McGeehan kicked the ball against their player who woudn’t move out of the way, yet McGeehan got spoken to about it. Just hate the inconsistency.

Warnock got it right. The Premier refs are not top notch but come down to league 1 and you have some right tossers
In charge. Refs should mainly come from ex players and be paid a really good wage. They should be head counted and if not up to job then sacked

The ref was poor yet again today. Mcgeehan received treatment on the pitch during the sending off incident but was still on when the subsequent free kick was taken.

Premier League and Championship referees are full time, from League One down they are part timers with another job next to it.

Also every time I hear Alan Shearer as a pundit, I feel that ex players may not necessarily be the best referees.

How many times do you hear " not enough contact for a penalty to be awarded" or similar phrases from pundits? If it is foul play outside the penalty area it's foul play inside the area. What's the difference? It will be interesting to see if VAR makes a difference next season in the Premier League. I am not that hopeful myself.

Th8nk that’s the ex player talking, I always find it interesting when you have Shearer and Keown on and they both see it from a defender or attackers view

You are right. It would be interesting to have an ex-referee appearing as a pundit. Has this ever happened? They obviously see things very differently from the players and supporters even the least biased of them.
