    Their fans and owner should have been careful what they wished for. They wouldn't have gone down if they hadn't have hounded out Mick. Lets hope they don't see a Old Farm derby for a long time.

    Richly deserved after the hammer Big Mick got for keeping them up year-after-year with little support. Sometimes, you have to play a certain way to keep your head above water (see the Machin years at t’Well) until you develop the club in other areas.

    Getting rid of an experienced manager for a "young up and coming" one
