Burton tiring a bit now according to their forum . Second half Sunderland have hit post and bar couple of good saves as well
Finished 1-1 were down to third but only one point still another game in hand but could have been worse imo
Good result that Burton have fair helped us out and looking at the stats they deserved something out of it.
Completely agree. If they lose or draw the other game in hand, things don't seem as bad as what people have been making out. Plenty of twists and turns to come.
I think it's a great result for us. Points are no good to anyone at this stage. Puts pressure on their last game in hand and hopefully tonight's taken a bit out of their legs.
Agreed, had Sunderland down to win that one so fair play to Burton. We now need Coventry to go up there Saturday and take some points off them!
The way charlton are going this could end up being a 4 horse race for the last automatic. Thing in our favour are that on paper I think we have the easiest run in. Sunderland have the worst, so will probably win them all
Sunderland could be tensing up as these matches start kicking in. If we win Sat and they only draw it is game on We have the pressure off a bit now in so much as we are third and fighting to get back to second and looking ahead not backwards as we have been All to play for
It’s down to how or if we bounce back and try to get some form back . If we carry on as we have been and encourage teams on then today’s result means nowt .
Apparently for some reason theirs bad blood between Mackems n Coventry especially with fans . Summat from a while back what I can gather but they’re expecting it to kick off . Loads of Coventry in Newcastle for Weekend .
Coventry, Bristol City and Sunderland had been battling to avoid relegation on the last day. Coventry and Bristol City had been playing each other when news broke that Sunderland had lost, subsequently they seemed to resign the game to a draw and allow the Black Cats to finish the 1976-77 season in the bottom three. However, the Mackems had their revenge as they flocked to the Sky Blues Talk forum at the end of 2011-12 season to mock Coventry’s descent to the third tier.
