Remember when Football used to be about the fans? People trashed Man City for not selling out their semi final allocation saying they are the premier league champions and it's Wembley and the last four. Seemingly forgetting it was the 4th time this season they had been to Wembley after Community Shield, Spurs away and the League Cup final. Not forgetting they had poor travel times because of the late kick off and all the away days in the Champions League to pay for and probably still to come, which leaves you in a position where as much as you'd love to go you have to pick and choose more. At those prices it won't be a sell out. City fans won't be bothered about a 5th trip there in just nine months.

    Is 145 the cheapest seat?

Pretty disgusting those prices. I think they're getting fans mixed up with players in terms of what they can afford.

    Nobody gives a hoot .
How often do we see ticket prices from clubs etc out of reach of ordinary fans . Chief Execs, managers, players will still want as much as they can bleed a club .

Next one is £70, I think I you would have to pay that for a decent view. Sat up in those seats for a England game once and it isn't a good view.

£45 for the cheapest ticket is obscene. With travel costs, food and drink plus the cost of kids if you have them it becomes a very expensive day out. They know most fans will find the money one way or another so just keep ripping them off.

I suppose it is a final though.

It’s the FA that are doing this, absolutely disgusting. You can fully understand why Man City fans won’t sell their allocation at those prices when they go every other week to these finals.

Uefa get a lot of stick but they’ve charged tickets at 30 euro to watch us in a Cup final in the summer. And the FA charge these prices? For the fans....... my arse!

Even worse when you consider that fans of the two finalists have already shelled out to watch the semi finals at Wembley.

I don't think the semis should be at Wembley personally.

No they should use the millenium stadium like they did when Wembley was out of action. Wembley gets used that often these days it's not all that special anymore.

As for Man City - thats the price of success these days.

Me neither. It devalues the final IMHO.

No they shouldn’t, they should choose a neutral venue equidistant between the two competing teams, the FA though need to use Wembley to keep the income rolling in to pay for it.

I think the Wembley semis are down to growth of premier league grounds. These days some of the premier league clubs are getting massive crowds. They wouldn't settle for 20k each at a neutral venue - man united would have over 50k disappointed regulars!

The traditional semi final venues like Hillsborough and Villa park aren't big enough any more.

Old Trafford is the only ground big enough in the north, and the others are in London, so may as well use Wembley.

What’s crazy is only 2/3 are available to the clubs, the rest are corporate

Just seen that both clubs are getting allocations of 28 thousand each too. 56 thousand proper fans in a 90k capacity stadium is also what’s wrong with football.
