Was over in Lisbon for a mate's wedding last weekend.

65,000 capacity stadium. Amazing atmosphere. Benfica were lucky to win, against a local side struggling against relegation, but moved back top.

    They are a big club.

Been quite a few times when I was living in Setubal... Also did the back room tour.. Official and un official... Lol... A Well run club... more a religion than a football club... To its supporters... There's Casa de benfica . All over the place...cheap drinks good food... Once came back to the UK and was sat next to Ted smiths son .. (look him up in benfica history ) most enjoyable flight ever .. Ive even got a photo of myself and Eusebio in the album .lol. Happy days that turned sour... Cough... lol

Yes. There is a massive passion about the club. Fans were very friendly on the whole and atmosphere was excellent.
