Have you seen the Sky Sports feature at Alton Towers/ Love Daniel but he doesn`t half scream like a girl!
Probably cos they did the dirty on him and the team regarding Mcgeehan and maybe feel the need to cosy up to him. Who knows, had Sky not got Mcg banned we might have picked up a few more points.......... who knows.

Is anyone else sad that Hemsworth no longer posts on here when we have threads like this? It would have been absolute gold. I miss little gems like "Goodness me, the German should be concentrating on his job not pi55ing around on rollercoasters".
Bit gutted he was gone before I arrived to be honest. Just realised its my 1 year anniversary on here. He sounds quite amusing!
Happy anniversary TM. I don't know if you read this forum prior to joining but he was great entertainment at times, his own worst enemy at others. Some contributions from him that stand out. Any player who played before Sky was sh*t. Gazza in particular was w*nk. He hated Bobby Hassell and Luke Steele. Proper hated them. He couldn't bring himself to praise Hecky for anything even before the downturn in form. In fact he would only ever refer to him as Heckingbottom. Frimpong was the best Barnsley player ever. Any cricketer who played before he watched the game was w*nk. Botham was w*nk, Boycott was w*nk, the West Indies team of the 70's / early 80's were w*nk. I really miss him.
Thanks Haha sounds quality. Did he genuinely believe those things do you think or was he just a WUM? I think I lurked on the board for a few weeks before signing up, so unfortunately missed his clear genius! I've obviously heard his name mentioned a lot though.
I honestly think they were his genuine beliefs and he stood by them steadfastly. I think he knew the reaction there would be to most of his posts but I honestly believe he thought he could change the opinion of most other posters through attrition.
If I'm not mistaken Phil aka Hemsworth Tyke, had a disability .. That disability was Autism.... A lot of folk overlooked that when replying to his threads and his views at times went overboard to the point of being extreme... Consequently he wound quite a few board members up. For all his annoying posts he could give you the low down on a lot of the young players and at times could be quite knowledgeable... Alas his veiws, and at times dogmatic attitude brought about is own demise and was the doing of his own downfall.... We lost count of his warnings and weekly suspensions... Many jumped on the band wagon and berated his posts simply because he Hemsworth started the thread.. In the end he left Gally no maneuver room and despite numerous warnings of what was to come he was cast to the memory of times gone by.... Joining the good Doctor Z and Therev at the table of distant shores... Think I too got a weekly pass to those distant shores for campaigning to reinstall the Good Doctor and Therev....alas it was not to be... lol

He once genuinely put Frimpong in his all time Barnsley XI. Holding Midfielder if I remember. Think that was about 2 week after we signed him. He hated Hourihane, too, along with Steele and Hassell. Proper hipster.
