You. Can't be offside if you're behind the man passing the ball.

What, so as you were wrong about him being offside you thought you’d have a different dig?

Harry Kane is one of few out and out number 9’s in the game. He’s the best of them.

Tell me who you believe to be better.

He was in front of Sterling when the ball was played.

I thought he was offside at the time and still do.

Watch it again. He timed it perfectly. Had plenty of time to do so and pulled it off.

Looked level or slightly behind to me. The linesman was in the perfect position and kept the flag down....

He was behind the ball. He's a clever player and you can see him looking and holding his run until Sterlng releases the ball.

Great player. Obviously a top finisher, but does a hell of a lot of work outside the box to help link up with midfield. One of the reasons Stirling gets so many chances.

Typical really of some folks opinions on England, were playing the best football as a national team I have seen in my lifetime, Scored 5 goals in two separate games in a couple of days.
Our number 9 is scoring every game nearly for club and country (also the top scorer at the last major tournament).

We have finally got an identity with the style of play we are playing, not just sideways passing and back to the keeper like we have previously,

Yet some people still look to find negatives of this side. Get behind them we potentially are onto something good with these lads.

Ronaldo, Salah, Messi aren't out and out strikers. And Kane is a better marksman than Giroud, Rashford, Vardy, Mandzukic and Immobile.

I was going to point out that most of those aren’t out and out centre forwards and that you were missing the point.

But if you think Robert Lewandowski and Olivier Giroud are better than Harry Kane I’d be wasting my time....

Higuain, Aubameyang, Immobile, Mandzukic too to be fair. Each to their own opinion wise but I don’t think many top managers would be clambering over themselves to sign any of them if they thought Kane was available.

He’s better than the vast majority of those mentioned.

    ******* Giroud? Vardy?

You deserve a silly sausage for that.
