    They are a good team,just our luck someone else came to party when it was supposed to be us and Sunderland for title at start of season

    Could never understand why one or two on here though they'd fall off the pace.. especially after strengthening as they did in January

    I called this on the final day of the January transfer window after seeing Luton's 3 late squad additions and was shot down on here for saying so. It's us Sunderland and Portsmouth fighting it out for second.

    Just watched quest....so thats jacket and ollie saying we have the most pressure.
    Jacket is trying to "old man" us just like the wolves gaffer all those years ago!
    Ollie....is daft, just like when he claimed millwall had the best central defenders, in the league, when we hammered them at wembley.
    Do you know what?
    I dont mind one bit ....stendell is galvanising a siege mentality here and doing it in style.
    These teams are all playing catch up and the clock is ticking.

    Haven't seen the Quest highlights but I'd say most of the pressure is on Sunderland with the fans expectations and their tricky run in, if they don't go up top 2 then isn't their play off record terrible?

    Kenny Jackett is trying to take the pressure off himself, Portsmouth should have had the league title sown up by now given their great start but he comepletely ****** things up and is only just managing to get Pompey going again. A number of their fans were calling for his head a couple of weeks ago. He'd do well to focus on his own team and their boring style of football!

    They will deservedly take the title.
    - only promoted last year.
    - faced the biggest injustice ever suffered by a football league club. Took it on the chin and bounced back.
    - lost their Coach at a critical stage of the season but it’s not fazed them. Ironically a ‘Mackem’ Is going to take them up.
    - bought well in Jan for an assault on promotion.
    - haven’t had a ‘wobble’ all season - and unlikely to have one now.
    - have got where they are playing good football.

    Good luck to them.
