    We’ve never really followed others have we.

    If they’re on sale early April, then they will be released at the same time we always have for the past several years. That’s fine with me.

    Makes no difference really - folk who want them will get them.

    Being proactive by saying how much we pay is based on how many we sell would be too much to ask.

    But if they went on sale Monday morning with prices frozen I am sure hundreds would renew next week even though we don't know which league we are in next season.

    Eminently sensible decision in my opinion. If , God forbid we miss out on promotion,
    the Board might look favourably at the prices by way of either a freeze or a slight reduction
    so as not to lose too many Season ticket holders . Conversely, if we do go up and invest
    in a few players who along with those retained stand a fair chance of keeping us in
    the Championship, it could be argued that the Board are quite within their rights to uplift the
    prices for all categories.

    Whilst that's true, people weren't happy about them being announced that late and then expecting payment 28 days later last year either. Bradford have been advertising theirs on the front page of the T&A every single day for weeks now (we get a copy every day for the library at school). I know it's nothing to do with you when they are released, just pointing out that that argument is flawed. It's like trying to defend us running out of shirts before Open Day (I'm calling it now) by posting links to us running out of them for the last 3 years too.

    Edit: realise you were probably actually just posting facts, not trying to defend the club's late announcements. I'm going to guess announcement 10th April if the pattern continues. ;)

    They didn't look favourably at prices after we were relegated last season.

    Good post but you shouldn't feel the need to modify it to placate YT. He's come on here as a club employee trying to defend the club. He should take honest comments on board or not come on here at all.

    I read out the thread and my reply to my husband and his first response was that he didn't read it as a defence, just giving his opinion of when an announcement may be made so I thought it fair to give the benefit of the doubt as I'm obviously biased.
