    Yes. We’ve only ever had football threads on here. 100%. Never seen a political thread, or a music thread, telly, film, anything. Just football. Always has been.

    It wouldn't bother me if it wasn't the same arguments and points that have been posted countless times already. Brexit is extremely divisive and should be kept off here in my opinion.

    thing is Mickey ... this Brexit lark has become a total farce.... many are sick of it to say the least... nowt wrong with a few off topics , but this is now becoming a right royal pain.
    Freddie has nowt to do with football , just like the Scottish national football team... they may as well take up net ball.

    Oh and the Freddie post was to try and inject a bit of mirth BTW.

    I treat this site as though I'm in the pub having a pint with my mates. Talk about everyday topical
    issues and express an opinion, even if nobody agrees with it, but because we are football fans,
    the bulk of the conversation inevitably turns to how the Reds are doing. Agree we are all probably
    sick to the back teeth with politicians and Brexit, but it's useful to know how people are thinking.
    I originally voted to leave, but it looks as though the members of Parliament are intent on frustrating
    the majorities wish and accordingly I have now signed the petition to stay put by scrapping Article 50.
    Upshot for the future after this debacle, is I will never vote ever again in a General or Local election.
    What's the point if your not being listened to.?

    Have to agree, people voted 17.6m to leave, 16. Something to stay only just over 1 million on the petition it's irrelevant.

    While we're at it, can we close down the whole of the BBS during matches, cos I find it a bit unwieldy.
    And then permanently ban anyone who posts while pissed.
    Then sort out the swear filters to block out "blimey" and "flipping heck"

    And finally can I have a sticky that shows, in user friendly format and words of no more than two syllables, how to avoid opening threads that don't interest me.
