How the hell did the referee end up awarding that? I honestly don’t believe that referees cheat but bloody hell..

The Watford defender kicked the ball on to him. If that's the right goal.

He was already offside by that point. Disgraceful decision.

Apparently as soon as the defender played the ball he brought Sterling back into play.... so they say.

Not what anyone thought on MOTD. Terrible decision that I suspect most clubs would not have benefited from.

Haven't Seen MOTD, sky had a referee and they showed the words from the rules and explained by a ref. Personally i think the whole issue is around the interfering with play or whatever its called these days. I think tac tics can use the rule to their advantage. For me it should be simplified as a rule.

But the lad wouldn't have touched it had Sterling not been there. Ridiculous decision to allow it. A crucial time too, watford went to pieces after that, just like we did at Sunderland after another shocking decision.

That’s not true. If it was any time a goalkeeper saves and an offside attacker nets the rebound he would have been played on by the keeper

Wrong decision for me. I’d be furious if a Watford (or Liverpool) fan

***** decision. Clearly a yard offside when Aguero chests the ball down. Shouldn't matter if the defender has kicked the ball onto him. If he attempts to play the ball surely that makes him "active."

Sorry to burst your bubble but clearly it is true. Whether the interpretation is agreed or disagreed thats how they judged it on Sky and showed the rule. By the way the offside rule clearly defines a rebound from the keeper as specifically being offside.

Surely if the Sky pundits say it was a goal, then it was! We should just let them make the decisions from their studio - oh ... they already do!
