A fair point. I put it down to the fact I'm so Fcukin angry about the Kieffer Moore situation (and the Club's idiotic January Sales Policy) I can get barely get my words out. I daren't even contribute to that particular debate for fear of saying something I may regret. Better to stay on safer territory such as Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins, Jacob Rees Mogg and Donald Trump. Bollo**s - I've just created a new Political Party - the Thoughtless Ignorant ******* Party.
Damn - see what I mean!

Many said that at this time last year - we got relegated. Many also said it at the same time at this time in 2017 - we imploded. There does appear to be a pattern to the Club's 'policy'. Still we're so impoverished, we should just be grateful we just have a club to support.
There you've got me started now and I was just getting it of my chest; to be followed by a period of supportive noises until we see what the end of the season brings. I'll try again.

We don't deserve to go up with silly points we've dropped this season. People are harping on about the Sunderland game making the difference. It's the dropped points against AFC Wimbledon, Walsall, Plymouth and Burton that will cost us dearest in the long run.

Might be an idea to see the points that draw specialists, Sunderland have dropped.

    Could be worse.
We could have "done something crazy"
Like reinvest the money into the first team squad which we received in transfer fees, compensation payments and wage savings during January.
    Same old tarn.
What happened to all these replacements we have lined up in case someone leaves?
How about a bit of foresight and forcing competition for places
Bring players in before others leave and put us on the front foot.
Radical I know, but then we might not be in the position of being "short staffed" without the ability to recruit.
We basically have no competition for places.
Let's hope the players left have the desire to drag us up, it will not be automatic though!

    Wide receiver from Tampa anyone?

At this stage of the season there are indeed.
I suspect that number will be lower after the next 12 games as we slip and then DT's comments will be even more applicable as they were games when we were at full strength, or at least had Moore and hadn't sold others.

Or maybe not applicable- depends if you're a half glass/ empty type of person . If that attitude is instilled into the players then we might as well give in. If that makes me a happy clapper so be it!!

It's all about opinions LR :) If we all had the same, this forum would be dead.

Up to about the 80th minute at Gillingham, I was very optimistic about our chances of automatic promotion.
That incident, which watching it play out live, made me feel physically sick, I also suspected at the time, that we wouldn't see Kieffer in action again this season, although hoped I was wrong, as much as for his health & well being tbh.

My major concern on the football side, is that no matter how we line up now, the balance of the team will be affected.
Calls for Brown & / or Thiam up front. Both decent options, but not where they have played their best football and nothing like a replacement for KM.
If we move one of them, we then have to plug the gap they leave and they have both been thriving in.
Vic isn't a League 1 Striker (never mind a top 2, League 1 striker), I suspect he would struggle to hold down a regular starting place in a League 2 team.
If he proves himself at L2, then he should be considered, he should have been loaned out to try and get regular games at that level.
If the gaffer had confidence in him, he would have started in a 2 up top after KM's injury.

Think the gaffer does have confidence in Vic, but wants to keep giving his own pet project Bahre chance after chance.
