    As seems to be the case with most newbies I've been visiting the BBS for quite a while and enjoy the mostly good natured banter and differing opinions expressed. I hope I can add to this great forum in the future.

    Started watching 1962 ( didn't have a choice mi dad took me) but earliest heroes would be Winnie and Pat Howard , Thomas, Evans, Ali Millar, Bobby Doyle, all the Clarke/Hunter legends, Cooper and Currie, Redders, Danny's promotion side, Craig Hignett, Brian Howard through to Conor and ,dare I say it Sammy the snake! The present crop have plenty of players who have the potential to become heroes, I have a particular fondness for Mama but they need to finish the job this season and consolidate in the championship to do so.
    Quite a long list and apologies to those I have overlooked such as Spud, Phil Chambers and Joe Joyce particularly but if I had one player who gave his all for Barnsley, still attends weekly and is one of the nicest men I have the pleasure of speaking to it would be
    E FOR B AND LESLIE LEA!!!!!

    they can be a little TRIGGER happy when we lose. We have to REIN in our emotions
