No, There’s some on here who obviously aren’t happy, and those who think it’s been a good/ decent window. Then again since when has this board been truly It was said and I don’t give a feking **** what you think. My Ipad cut-off before I managed to finish my last reply, but still posted it somehow. What I said about GG and Conway’s reply still stands about it being aimed at Reds fans in general and not just those stood around them. So your little dig about asking the East Dene Reds if their pleased means nothing. BTW don’t do religion so digs in biblical references are just meh.
We have a strong group of players who have played together all season. These lads have gelled as the season has progressed and there is a obvious spirit amongst them. 17 games to go. Lets get behind them.
We're all obviously behind them. I love my club. We're weaker than when we entered the new year. Lord knows why.
Weaker is not a fact but an opinion and one I don't agree with. I think we now have a better balanced squad which I also think will make us stronger.
We are imo weaker now than we were a month ago which is absolutely ludicrous from a footballing point of view. Makes sense from us being a business who just happens to have a football team though Profits over points
How does that work though? What has balanced the squad up? We got rid of Potts, moncur and isgrove and brought in one lad ready to play first team football. How has that made us more balanced?
We've lost one first teamer & 2 fringe players. Main loss is Winkler for me. Green looks like he may be a better impact sub than Moncur for the time being. Other 2 are punts / development squad types. I'm relieved non of our other top players have gone. We also extended Mowatt's contract before the window, which was a big result.
When you buy cheap young players it's harder for them to step straight into the championship and show their abilities to potential buyers than it is in league one.
Moncur showed a couple of positive signs early in the season off the bench but hasn’t made an impact for months. I’m not sure how familiar Isgrove is with football in general never mind our style of play.
Oh I’m sure one of the new guys can come on last ten mins and run about like a headless chicken to replace Moncur, McGeehan seems to have filled Potts place imo. And if Isgrove wasn’t being played and manager didn’t fancy him or he was injured or all of these then obs he hadn’t weakened the team. There you go no ,need to bother East Dene Reds
I think we're stronger. In saying this, I'm taking into account that several of our players have improved considerably in the past couple of months. Brown, McGeehan, Thiam, Williams, for example. Why do people think you can only improve a squad by signing new players? The 4 players I mentioned above are perfect examples of what can happen when you keep a squad together and avoid disrupting it by bringing in mediocre players at inflated prices.
To think I saw Roll up Roll up and thought ....here we go Roll up Roll up See the winky wa. nky bird When it winks it w . a.nks It's 4skin is fastened to its eyelid Oi....stop throwing sand in its eyes Mrs.... Never mind back to the argument...light relief over lol
Moncur's last impact was during the Luton game at home he was brilliant for 35 mins then went missing. Too anonymous for my liking. Isgrove has always had fitness issues. Over half a season if they have same impact for their new clubs, they won't be missed.
A large number of us saying we were over endowed with centre mids yet short of wingers.. 2 centre mids out ( 1 regular 1 not so regular) with replacements not necessarily required and 1 winger in = better balance for me.
