HITC are one of a couple of sites that will turn any old rubbish into a story. Plus it's wrote by Pete O'Rourke who a couple of days ago tweeted that he was close to signing for 6 million, on the same day Andy Giddings said there had been no bids.
After how they defended tonight against a team a few leagues below them, they might need to double that.
Its not even a rumour down at their end. Their forum said "A Barnsley fan mate of mine says we're after him" nobody had heard anything. They also say they can't see them paying over £3 million for a player his age.
As the end-times drew near, a man appeared. He had travelled far and suffered many hardships. He spoke softly but his words weighed heavy upon the people. "Behold, for I have good news. Cast out your false words, renounce Moore to Sunderland and follow the path of Pinnock to Brentford. It is the only way." Tyke1 listened to the man and threw down his tools, he gathered his neighbours and marched on the temple of Moore. By sunset the elders heeded the prophecy of Pinnock to Brentford; the temple was razed to the ground and the non-believers were taken to the fields where they were crushed with sundered remnants of the false temple of Moore. The Book of Pinnock to Brentford 2:11
I wish people would ignore these sites. Unless it’s from a Radio Sheffield journalist, Nixon or a credible journalist just ignore it
3 Million!!!! I wouldn't take less than 10 in this transfer climate! I wouldn't sell anyone now full stop, we want and need that top 2!!!
Don't you think it's frightening though? That someone can create a clickbait site/ article and so many people swallow it without questioning its accuracy or validity, and then use this rubbish to then hammer a club, company, person or group. And its not just football, think of the implications of more serious aspects of life. Seems the new wave of social control and propaganda is over information. Truly frightening.
Most people like a bit of transfer news but most of the rumours now at best are just a load of rubbish, at worst (also) a load of rubbish! Why people feel the need to stir it up is beyond me! In a few days, they can crawl back under a stone
You take a platform... add a person who wishes to create misinformation for giggles or something more sinister, throw in a large number of gullible morons.... and you have a mass tidal wave of fiction based angst.
Ye it’s crazy, something scandalous gets said about someone it’s all over the internet & then the apology a few days later barely gets any coverage
You can bet one thing.. if that lad from St Johnstone appears then he'll be going.. But in all fairness, would be a good move for him there... he' only from around the corner I think..
