If an election were held tomorrow. Don't argue your case, just vote in the poll above. Will bump occasionally for a day or two. Thread is not for arguing, just to see voting demographic. Votes are anonymous.
It should say if you had your arm twisted up your back who would you vote for, because sheeeesh......
Genuinely don't know. I didn't vote at the last election (massive labour majority so a futile vote anyway if you want anything different). I only know I wouldn't vote Tory or Labour or any party that was positioning to leave the EU or not rejoin.
pointless post alert. On a site where the area would vote for a donkey as long as it wore a red rosette.
Yes, but I think we can get a decent idea of what each party would be fighting for/over. It's just my curiousity that's all.
why Irony . the majority of voters in Barnsley vote labour... its like Monty Python "because of my farther, and my farthers farther, and my farthers farthers farther" ... ad infinitum
That's because the majority of us realise the conservative party only look after the upper class and don't do a thing for this area...
So all folk that vote the same as their parents haven`t got a view/thoughts of their own reight, tha comes art wi this ***** everytime. Jeez.
Not for me. You couldn't pay me any amount of money to vote for a tory. Absolute filth, the lot of them.
It's not a binary choice though. There's one particular policy at the moment that would significantly influence my decision among the other parties, or more specifically between the other two major parties. I think you can probably guess which one.
Yep, fair point. Oddly enough, this whole catastrophe has pushed me closer to Labour, even though I disagree pretty fundamentally with their stance. It's the product of a broken voting system, admittedly, but where I live a vote for anybody other than labour is a vote for the conservatives. And every time one of them opens their mouth I'm reminded afresh of why they need to be taken down. It wouldn't be pretty, but on balance I'd rather get them out and try and deal with the fallout. It's got to be better than looking in from the sidelines at the toxicity that passes for politics at the moment. And if you'd told me ten years ago that i'd be writing this then I wouldn't have believed you!
