But the lads ground out a big three points today. To say neither Moore nor Woodrow were on top of their game, they each still managed to score well executed goals. Both Brown & Williams turned in good performances and, for me anyway, young Ben deserved his MOTM award. Nice cameo from Green, too. Not a classic, but I'll happily accept the three points nonetheless. On a personal note, it was great to see Jay again for the first time in ages. A nicer bloke you couldn't wish to meet.
You know what they say about teams who can still win despite playing badly and there is no doubting we didn't play well today. I had Williams as MoM, he played well today.
We didn’t play well but Rochdale were set up to spoil and disrupt. Did well to get 3 points after going a goal down
Looked for you on the photo of the meeting last night . I thought you’d be on the Sofa with the remote but when I saw Ganaye there I knew you hadn’t gone otherwise you’d have turfed him off .
We definitely didn't play well, passing was poor and a few need to work on their 1st touch but Rochdale had a game plan and played it well.. Close us down, pack the midfield to break down our play... They only went in front because we switched off for the quick free kick...
They were great at time wasting and going down easy for the cheap free kicks. You could class that as disrupting
"Set up" should refer to how they matched us, tactically. Time wasting and falling over is for the ref. They "disrupted" us by being as good as us for most of the game.
We'll have to make ourselves known to each other, mate. Before most games, I'm usually chatting with jedi one at the railings near the disabled section.
