    He’s left Forest 7th in the league. I know they’ve spent some money, but surely 7th at this stage is a step in the right direction.

    I can’t work it out. Forest seemed to be a bottom half club for most of the last 10 years & now they’re 7th & they’ve sacked their manager. Baffling to me

    This sounds completely like the Birmingham City debacle where there were doing well, but management decided to change things (sacked Rowett and brought in Zola) and things went pearshaped pretty much overnight. I think they were in 7th place as well back then.

    As if it's so easy to get into the Premier League.
