Yep, tend to agree. Thought perhaps they had tweaked the model with Stendels appointment with Bahre coming in. But obviously not. If the Potts sale and Thiam sale were of similar amounts it would seem sensible to consult the coach if one is to be accepted and one rejected though in my opinion. Can’t imagine Stendel sticking around long if he thought he was to have a say and is not excluded. So imagine he knew he would not play a part. Be interesting to hear what the process is now. Always thought in the old system the manager had some involvement.
Did Sanchez Van Persie or Henry leave for UK clubs in higher leagues, in areas they've spent much time at?
If come the end of January and we have sold more than we have brought in then questions will be asked and we have a right to be disappointed. There is also a good chance we will strengthen the squad this month for the run in. Our current squad is more than capable to get us through this month even without Potts with the emergence of Bahre and Thiam. Any other negative reaction at this point in time is unjustified, uninformed and a complete overreaction just like the Woodrow Bradshaw situation. It would be boring though if we didn't partake in a nonsense thread or two on here.
It could well be that 1, Potts wanted the move 2 , we actually have got better players lined up, If neither turn out to be true then I will personally deliver the head of Andrew White on a silver platter to thi Nudge
So he doesnt know if any money is available. I presume he wont know what replacements are coming in either......
You're either deluded or naive. Probably both. Of course they're here to make a profit. Why else would they be here?
The tone very much reminded me of another manager that we had. I hope we are not on th same slippery slope.
Yes - offers in for Thiam ...... REJECTED. So why let Potts leave? It doen’t add up. It would be great if we had better players lined up. But you don’t throw the baby out with the bath water cos yer missus just told you she was pregnant again. It doesn’t add up. Answers please Mr CEO.
