    At the end of the day, it looks like he requested the move. So in that case he has forefitted the rest of his BFC contract to ensure the move came off. So as well as the (estimated) £2m fee, the club has also saved what they would have had to pay him should he have stayed or if they had sold him without the transfer request.

    The way I look at it, he's given up a fairly large amount of money from the club, so PNE must have offered him a decent sum.

    Nothing to be disappointed about, we made more than he’s worth and he’ll get found out in championship just like he did last time. I’m glad he has faith in his own ability cause I don’t. League one is his level and last time I saw him against quality midfielders in the champ he got shown up. There’s better out there for the same money trust me.

    Last season was his first in the championship, this season he’s looked a very good astute player who a think we’ll miss, a think he’ll do wel for Preston
