    That's the thing you have to hope for. Someone better is lined up.

    I suppose he doesn't really fit the system we play and has only been 'doing a job' out wide, but it's still a shame to see such a hard working, improving footballer leave for a relatively low fee.

    Funny how everybody criticised the lad last season. Said he was "blowing" after 60 minutes etc etc. Now it appears he's a big loss!!!!

    I’m somewhat nonplussed with this sale. When Portsmouth and Sunderland etc are strengthening we go and let yet another fans favourite go.
    Surely the fee must be substantially more than £1.5m when we reportedly forked out a million for him in the first place? They need to move quickly to bring in some new blood otherwise the crediblity of our club will be shot.

    On his day one of our better players with strong runs through the middle and a good shot.
    Good luck to him, he's moving up a league and income bracket (presumably). And the club makes some money too.

    Now what are we going to do with it?

    Downwards by the looks. Potts was a key player & if we were serious about the top 2 we needed him.

    Yeah anyone giving the lad abuse needs to have a word with themselves. Unless I hear otherwise i.e a player forcing a move away, anyone leaving that has put effort into playing for us should do so on good terms.
