Fully expect it to **** us over somehow.

Still they can only flag up issues for the ref to review.

It’s only other real benefit is ensuring goals etc are legitimate.

It’s a quote from the 16th century philosopher Mr E Blackadder, who often used it when it found it difficult to engage with a particular argument.

I’d have him every week for not sending Pinnock & Pinillos off & he can bring his linesman as well for not spotting the ball going out of play in the build up to our first goal

The ball never went over the line watch the highlights the lino was in the best position in the ground to spot if it went FULLY over the line. And they were no protests from their players.

Fair enough, but i’d rather have a Referee who brought something......oh I don’t know ......new and exciting to a game. Competency would be a good start!

The linesman couldn’t see whether it had gone over the line as he was behind Potts. Anyone in the East Upper would’ve had a much better view

I was pleased to see the flag staying down when the ball was on the line and still in play for a change. The line is part of the playing area and the entire ball has to cross it to be out of play. Angles of view from the stand etc play a part but all too often the flag goes up when the ball seems to be on the line.

https://www.skysports.com/football/barnsley-vs-charlton/393385 there you go the lino is in the best position in the ground to see if the ball goes over the line. (The ball has to go fully over the line for it to be out of play) like I said no charlton players complained.
As for the pinnock one on another day he walks so does their lad in the 2nd half who brings down brown. Suppise pinnock is due abit of luck he clearly got the ball at the SOL and conceded a pen when we were on top. Not sure about the pinnilos one.

I think people are getting mixed up. Obviously Woodrow doesn’t run the ball out of play. I mean before it gets to Bahre which isn’t shown on the highlights I’ve seen where Potts (99% certain) runs it out of play

It wasn’t even close to going over the line.

Watch the video from behind the goal.

Edit. Ignore me seen you are taking about a different incident.

Another goal, another inquest. You'd think we were supporting the opposition. o_O
