Is it not working, scribbling your snapchat name on the doors in public bogs? Or do you keep spelling it wrong?

Meatballs or faggots you'd have hot with potatoes and veg for dinner. Savoury (or penny) duck you have cold with bread. Very different thing.

I know I'm old, but I'm not as old as to be losing my marbles..........BUT me mam called it Penny Duck and she served Penny Duck/Meatballs/Faggots hot not cold.

This might be akin to the passage between two houses being called/pronounced a Ginnell or a Jinnell

Not suggesting you're losing your marbles. I'm sure your mam did call it penny duck But go to Barnsley Market and buy some, you'll see its completely different to meatballs or faggots
