    ..... I’ve been thinking.
    Why do men propose marriage to women ???
    We all know that men do NOT choose which women they want.
    It’s women that does the choosing - it’s women that chooses the man they want - so shouldn’t it be them that proposes ?
    In reality it probably is.
    But women probably use their womenly skills to do this without us men knowing owt about it.

    My Mrs has said if I don't propose by 2020 then she'll propose to me. Think I'll call her bluff in the name of equality. Or sumat.

    It would be interesting to find some stats.
    Quite high percentage of women propose.
    But there’s likely to be a higher percentage of men that proposed and thought it was all their own idea - when in fact the women had done some of their womanly voodooism on him and he didn’t suspect a thing.

    Don’t know personally about all this proposal and marriage stuff mi sen cos I’ve never been married.
    And never will be.

    Coincidentally - I’ve been watching a few old comedian clips on YouTube over the last few days - and Bernard Manning is one of them I’ve been watching.
    Foooking brilliant !!!
    Proper comedian.
    Those back then were generally better than what they are now - they actually told jokes.
    Watched Freddie Stars, Vincent sketch as well last neet.

    I used to love Bernard Manning & saw him live at Birdwell club , however , he would never survive in todays politically correct environment . He was one funny bloke , as were a number more that used to appear on the comedians , great show .
