Now we're playing one and five central midfielders. To a certain extent that's been dictated by injuries (and us selling Bradshaw), but Thiam was on the bench today who was part of those early victories. Last week Bahre played between the midfield and Brown. He was injured and we replaced him with Dougall. Mowatt, Dougall, Potts, Moncur and McGeehan all in the same team doesn't seem very balanced to me. Might not have made any difference like, Charlton have looked quite a bit better, particularly on the break.
Charltons position is false and they are a decent team However We have created our own problems! This isn’t knee jerk It’s been coming. It will come again too if this attitude persists.
Yep, agree. Terrible attitude from the players who have only lost twice all season, running themselves into the ground every game. And after ten points from the last twelve including a 3-1 and 4-0 away win this had definitely "been coming". Ffs!
We played Bradshaw uptop alone chasing shadows last season kept losing and kept repeating. Thiam is a winger for me. Moore back to full fitness for Tuesday maybee Woodrow on bench win our game in hand and we are 2nd.
We aren't going to win many games when we have Brown up front on his own. We were given clues of that during the Luton game, which some people chose to ignore because we won. In that sense, yesterday's defeat has "been coming".
But that’s like saying “night is coming” eventually it will happen and when it does you can say “told you so” yesterday’s defeat hasn’t been coming in as much as the next win. I think you are right however and if we are left with brown up front for any length of time we will be a poorer side, with Moore and Woodrow fit however it won’t come to that.
