Luton are 3rd in the form table over the last 8 games we are top same points total though. Was a tough game without these 3 missing even harder now.

 

Hope you're right but unfortunately i just dont think he's suited to that position. And no matter how much of a psychological boost he gets from playing his former club i dont think he could ever be an adequate replacement for Dougall. Look forward to being proved wrong on Sat.

 

We started the game on Saturday with 5 central midfield players - Dougall, Mowatt, Potts, Bahre and Moncur. If we want do that again, we can replace Dougall with either McGeehan or Bird. But Stendel may not want to. We've won 4-0 twice before this season when we played with only 3 of those 5 midfielders. We've started games with only 2 of 'em. We've got Brown, Thiam and Adeboyejo to come in, all with goals this season, none of whom started Saturday. Hedges is fit again and finding his feet. We've lost and played rubbish with Dougall in the side. I'm not saying he's crap and I don't rate him, he's not and I do, but he's not irreplaceable. We'll be reight.

 

He's irreplaceable in the sense that we don't have another player suited to the defensive midfielder role in the squad.
