    Well it might be.

    Because you're saying he's pinching a living because he can't play football. And you're not prepared to rule out his feigning injury.

    Whereas I would bemoan our signing him because he's always crocked.

    Which is not him pinching a living, so much as us being daft enough to sign him.

    He wants to play. But can't.

    He's not pinching. We're allowing him to steal.

    It really is an awful record. I hope he can get fit and start playing but sadly my optimism is draining away.

    There are numerous examples of players being injury-plagued for a period of their career who go on to play a lot of games. I'm hoping Isgrove ends up being one of them. No doubt Conan does too...

    Well you may be on a winner there - in that theft is the dishonest appropriation of something belonging to another with intention to permanently deprive the person of it.

    But you could take it, having given the owner the idea that you'll return it later, but don't.
